Protecting Your INTerests
Power of Attorney
The purpose of Lasting Powers of Attorney is for you to give someone you trust the legal power to act on your behalf should you become either mentally or physically incapable.
Without a Lasting Power of Attorney others will find it very difficult to pay bills for you or take other decisions in your best interest.
Crossmans can advise you, draw up Lasting Powers of Attorney accordingly, and register them with the Office of the Public Guardian for you.
We will discuss with you the making of a Lasting Power of Attorney: both Welfare and Financial, what it entails, who is affected by it and how it protects you. Your affairs will be looked after by the people you trust to carry out your wishes if you are unable to deal with a situation for yourself in the future.
We can also prepare regular Power of Attorney documents for everyday situations and deal with Court of Protection work.
